Muna Bitar, PharmD

Muna Bitar, PharmD is an accomplished biopharmaceutical executive with more than 25 years of strategic and operational leadership in global medical affairs, spanning the ophthalmology, neuroscience, oncology, and cardiovascular therapeutic areas. She currently serves as Head of Medical Affairs at Neurotech, where she leads the medical strategy.

A proven leader in both start-up and large pharmaceutical environments, Dr. Bitar brings a dynamic and collaborative approach to building high-performing teams, guiding product launches, and establishing critical partnerships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders across North America and Europe.

Prior to joining Neurotech, Dr. Bitar served for over a decade at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, most recently as Director of Medical Affairs, Ophthalmology, where she led the development and implementation of medical strategies for EYLEA across multiple indications. Dr. Bitar has also held senior leadership positions at Merz, Novartis, and Roche, overseeing the launch and lifecycle support of multiple therapeutics and consistently delivering results in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments.

Dr. Bitar earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from Temple University and completed postdoctoral residencies at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and Amgen. She has served as an adjunct faculty at Rutgers College of Pharmacy and has published on the pharmacology of botulinum neurotoxins. An inductee of the Temple University Sports Hall of Fame and a former NCAA champion fencer.
