Dr. Barbara Blodi is a professor and medical retina specialist in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Blodi is the medical director of the Wisconsin Reading Center and her research focuses on retinal imaging systems as well as retinal imaging biomarkers in clinical research. Although she is involved in trials in almost all areas of retinal disease, her primary research interests include diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and retinal vein occlusion.
