Erica Wines

Erica Wines joined the Neurotech team in November 2022 as Head of Talent & Culture. Erica has more than 20 years of human resources experience, all within the healthcare industry (vaccines, big pharma, biotechnology, life sciences, medical device), and describes herself as an engaging business partner who pushes her clients to be their best while helping them navigate challenging situations. Over the course of her career she has excelled at building high-quality, talented teams across multiple departments, including taking Alexion’s Rhode Island Manufacturing Facility from 6 to 125 employees in 6 months, during which time Soliris® (eculizumab) received FDA approval for treatment of Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH),  as well as recruiting a new 110-employee sales force in preparation for the launch of Lemtrada® (alemtuzumab), Genzyme’s infusion therapy for Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Prior to joining Neurotech, Erica served as the Senior Director of Human Resources for Tepha Medical Devices, a small device firm in Lexington, MA which developed bioresorbable scaffolds for use in soft tissue repair in the body. Tepha was acquired by Becton Dickson in July 2021 and Erica accepted a new role supporting both Commercial and Regulatory for BD’s Interventional Surgery division. Earlier experiences include positions of rising responsibility at ID Biomedical, GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals, Alexion, PerkinElmer, Genzyme and Hologic.

Erica holds a BA in Public Policy (healthcare emphasis) from Brown University.
